Seasonal Job DescriptionsTomato Unloader - Operates equipment to unload the tomato trucks consistently & gently Control Room Trainee -As team member, coordinates all the plant's major processing equipment to keep the plant running smoothly at maximum capacity. Sanitation - Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing entire plant including equipment, walkways, floors, restrooms, break rooms, and offices, using chemicals and high-pressure water. Shuttle Driver - Shuttles tomato trailers to and from the plant unloading area. Sorter - Removes foreign objects, such as leaves and stems from the tomato line. Forklift Driver - Operates forklift for storage of bins and drums in warehouse. Prep-Relief - Relieves various positions including Floorleaders, Prep Operators, Grade Station Operators, and Unloading Operators for days off or breaks. Filler Attendant - Uses computerized equipment to fill bins and drums with product & ensures packaging integrity. Grade Station Operator – works with state inspectors to sample and grade tomatoes from each truckload. Office Assistant – analyzes documents & reports for errors. Maintains spreadsheets, Word documents, and files. Prep Panel Operator - Keeps the flow of fruit in the plant at a steady rate, distributing the fruit evenly between the sorting tables. Lab Technician - Performs various laboratory processes and tests on tomato product in order to meet quality standards. Also monitors quality of various other items and plant areas. Boxmaker - Assembles crates for product packaging.
